In 1975 a dear friend was happily found to be pregnant with her first child, and I was inspired at that time to write a song for the occasion; little did my wife and I know that she was pregnant at the same time with our first man-child as well.
Some years later dear friends took the seed of that song and masterfully transformed it into the beautiful story of the birth of the most important human baby ever born, who was destined to transform our world, our lives and all creation forever.

At a star that shone so brightly and the beauty of the sight,
I heard shepherds tell of angels who had appeared and shown the way
To a manger here in Bethlehem;
They proclaimed to all this holy day that ...
