I love this song for it's simplicity & for the straight-forward message that "yes, you CAN do something to make things better--you DO have influence, no matter how small and nothing you feel." With all the massive things gone or going wrong in this fallen world, it's easy to get discouraged and question what good our meager efforts accomplish the face of such negativity. This song has always encouraged me to keep plodding along, that I CAN and do make a difference.
