What did Jesus do, without a Coca-Cola? What did Jesus do, without a 500,000 dollar home? What did Jesus do, without a new Toyota? What did Jesus do, without a Facebook page of His Own? Chorus: Well, He loved the people, He showed'm how to help each other live, He brought the sunshine, And tried to teach us how to give What did Jesus do, when He was hot without an aircon? What did Jesus do, without a pair of tight, designer jeans? What did Jesus do, without an Apple iThing? What did Jesus do, without all of our awesome, high-tech machines? Chorus: Well, He loved the people, He showed'm how to help each other live, He brought the sunshine, And tried to teach us how to give And what would Jesus do, if He came to see you? Would He tell you, "Thanks for following the Law of Love that I gave" Let me tell you now, He’s is right here with us And He's all you need to be happy, from the cradle to the grave! [And beyond!] Chorus: Well, He loved the people, He showed'm how to help each other live, He brought the sunshine, And tried to teach us how to give

What a sad, sad story, those successful men, Whose wealth and glory's all lost in the end. Oh, they get that money, and they get that power, And they keep on running till the final hour, When they hear the sound as they look around, And they see their towers fallin' to the ground, and they say: Chorus: "Lord, Lord, I should have realized: I got that money just a little too close to my eyes. Lord, I can't say I didn't know, I gained the a World but I went and sold my soul." What a sad sad story, those successful men, Whose wealth and glory's all lost in the end. Oh, they play that game just to make a name, And they live in fame, but they die in flames, When they look around, as they hear the sound, and they see their towers fallin' to the ground, And they say: "Lord, Lord, I should have realized: I got that money just a little too close to my eyes. Lord, I can't say I didn't know, I gained the a World but I went and sold my soul." Don't be deceived and lay up for yourself Earthly treasures and Worldly wealth, That worms can eat and thieves will steal, Put your faith in something real! Set your heart on things Above, Eternal Life and Heaven's Love. Then upon that Judgement Day, You won't be heard to say, you won't be heard to say: Chorus: "Lord, Lord, I should have realized: I got that money just a little too close to my eyes. Lord, I can't say I didn't know, I gained the a World but I went and sold my soul. I gained the World but I went and sold my soul. I gained the World but I went and sold my soul."

Some people get high on drugs, Some people get high on drink Some people get high on pills Some people get high on mink Some people get high on money Some people get high on stuff Some people get high on power hurtin' others and being tough Some people get high on fitness Some people get high on sports Some people get high on shopping For others it's designer boxer shorts But what really turns me on, If I may be so bold Is that lovin’ Son of God, And the greatest story ever told!! Chorus: Because He came for Love, And He lived for Love And then He died for Love What’s better than that? Then He rose above, Gave evil a shove-- Did something with His life to be proud of He did it all for Love [He did it all for love] Some people get high on nature! Some people get high on food Some people get high on sex While others can’t get in the mood Some people get high on movies For some people it's the internet Some people get high on video games for others it's another cigarette But what really turns me on If I may frankly speak It’s that crazy Son of God You know, the Guy who turned the other cheek! Chorus: Because He came for Love, And He lived for Love And then He died for Love What’s better than that? Then He rose above, Gave evil a shove-- Did something with His life to be proud of He did it all for Love Oh, man, what really turns me on And sets my heart to sing Is that loving Son of God And the way He does His thing! Chorus: Because He came for Love, And He lived for Love And then He died for Love What’s better than that? And then He rose above, Gave evil a shove-- Did something with His life to be proud of He did it all for Love He did it all for love, yes, He did.

Everyone of God's children since the beginning of time Looked for a city that's only seen by faith They had to live like gypsies, strangers to the world, Wandering without a resting place Chorus: Because they just had to keep moving, Had to keep moving on and on They just had to keep moving Till they got to the Heavenly Home God told old man Noah, "The sky is gonna get dark You'd better get busy and build yourself an ark" Father Abraham didn't know where he went Lived by faith and pitched himself a tent Chorus: Because they just had to keep moving Had to keep moving on and on They just had to keep moving Till they got to the Heavenly Home Moses could have been a rich man, but he got the word from God To lead his people out of Egypt land The Pharaoh got mighty angry, but Moses didn't fear He said to his people, "Let's get on outta here!" Chorus: Yes, and, they just had to keep moving Had to keep moving on and on They just had to keep moving Till they got to their Heavenly Home [And now, just like them:] Chorus: We’ve just got to keep moving Got to keep moving on and on [You can’t stop moving!] We've just got to keep moving Till we get to our Heavenly Home [You can’t stop now!] Till we get to our Heavenly Home [Eyes on the prize!] Till we get to our Heavenly Home

Well, "right and wrong" when I was young Was very plain to everyone, Simple like the A-B-C's we learned when I was three. But those days of clarity are passed; Today they're teaching in the class That any point of view is true, And there are no more absolutes. They teach man descended from the ape, So monkey ways we imitate, We follow where our impulse leads & do just as we please. Yes, morally we've been advised To do what's right in our own eyes; And while we're feeling free at last, Our society is crumblin' fast, and we're headed... Chorus: Back to the jungle, 'Cause we're throwing out all of the rules, We broke with our forefathers, Kicked the Good Book out of the schools; Turned a blind eye and a deaf ear To the wisdom that's from above, So it's back to the jungle, Unless we get back to the God of love. You know, in science and technology, We're pressing forward rapidly, But looking at things morally, how are our priorities?: We save the whales, the bats, the pests, But kill our babies in the nest We search for life in outer space, But can’t get along as a human race. Oh, television's laid good taste aside- Pandora's box is open wide; Now good is evil, and evil's good, or so says Hollywood. We've all acquired a taste for blood- A show without some is a dud; We eat it up and then lament our streets our violent, And that we're headed... Now, how much longer will we stand The mass confusion in our land? All our wisdom's in defeat as hatred rules the streets! We've tried man's theories long enough - This world's headed down and I'm fed up. Let’s wake up now and buck the tide And stop this downward slide, because we’re headed… Chorus: Back to the jungle, 'Cause we're throwing out all of the rules, We broke with our forefathers, Kicked the Good Book out of the schools; Turned a blind eye and a deaf ear To the wisdom that's from above, So it's back to the jungle, Unless we get back to the God of love. [repeat] We have got to, We've gotta get back, we've gotta get back! Oh, we have got to, We've gotta get back [we've gotta get back!] [3X]

If I could have everything the World could offer, And fly with wings like a dove, Or just blow like the wind of a storm on the ocean, What would it be without Your love? I'd rather be with the One I know will always be with me, Than have the throne of a king. 'Cause it would be nothing more than just a handful of nothing Compared to all Your love can bring. Chorus: And I know that some day, some way, When shadows all disappear. With no more sorrow at last, we'll live in happiness In a World without end. Now soon this World and its wealth, Its wars, oppression and Hell Will vanish and be no more. 'Cause all wrongs will be made right And day will conquer the night, When You reign from shore to shore. Chorus: And I know that some day, some day, When shadows all disappear. With no more sorrow at last, we'll live in happiness In a World without end. Yes, I know that some day, some way, When shadows all disappear. With no more sorrow at last, we'll live in happiness In a World without end. With no more sorrow at last, we'll live in happiness In a World without end.

I can cause a flaming star to send light to your galaxy, I can make the planet earth be a home of humanity, I can change a man of clay into a living soul; All parts of nature I control. I can make the crimson sunset glow & light up your skies, I can make the silver moonlight shine tonight in your eyes, I can cause a gentle breeze to blow & refresh your mind; I have created all mankind. Chorus: But I cannot make you love Me, and it makes My heart grieve To know that you have heard of Me, but chose to not believe. No, I cannot make you love Me, I can only beg & plead. But I will always be here for you, if you ever feel the need. I decide the times & seasons, the orbit of the globe as it whirls, I design the hidden reasons, the difference in the boys & the girls. My influence reaches realms & spheres as yet unexplored. I write life's songs, I choose the chords. Chorus: But I cannot make you love Me, and it makes My heart grieve To know that you have heard of Me, but chose to not believe. No, I cannot make you love Me, I can only beg & plead. But I will always be here for you, if you ever feel the need. Bridge My emotions make the seven oceans surge & swell. I can raise a storm or cause the clouds to form at will. I cry, & the rain pours. I sigh, & thunder roars. Stars fall & mountains shake When My heart breaks. Chorus: But I cannot make you love Me, and it makes My heart grieve To know that you have heard of Me, but chose to not believe. No, I cannot make you love Me, I can only beg & plead. But I will always be here for you, if you ever feel the need. If you ever feel the need...

I remember at the table Fifteen children and just one daddy, Now that daddies don't want children, Or at most just one or two. I remember how they used The old church house for a school; Now the schools won't let a Bible Pass inside their chilly doors. Chorus: How the world has changed in only one generation. They say it's for the better, but they know it's growing cold, And Salvation is slipping through their fingers As they turn their backs and close their ears To what the prophets all have told. I remember when the babies Were delivered by the doctors. Now the doctors all are surgeons, Making doors where doors don't go. I remember when the children Were instructed by their parents. Now the TV is the parents, Teaching violence and crime. Chorus: How the world has changed in only one generation. They say it's for the better, but they know it's growing cold, And Salvation is slipping through their fingers As they turn their backs and close their ears To what the prophets all have told. [repeat] As they turn their backs and close their ears To what the prophets all have told.

I dreamed when I was young Of a better world for all; I tried to do my part, And live as if to say That love will reign one day. They fought it from the start, Said it could not be done, That men would never change, And there could be no way That love would reign one day. Bridge: But I cannot accept, Much less believe, we’re doomed to fail So I fight on ‘til we prevail I know some think me wrong; “It’s foolish,” they may say; “Listen: The evidence is strong: The world has gone astray...” But love WILL reign one day They say “don’t be naïve; They say, "Just open up your eyes…” But I choose to believe What all the prophets say That Love will reign one day. Bridge: And I cannot accept, Much less believe, we’re doomed to fail So I fight on ‘til we prevail I’m older and wiser now, But this remains unchanged: No matter what comes down, What evil they create, Or what they throw our way: The light is sure to rise, We’ll see it plain as day, Shining in all eyes, When Love has come to stay

Take these things that hinder me, Take my pride and my vanity, Help me understand You, Teach me how to love You, Won't You help me to be more Chorus: I wanna be more, I need to be more like You, Lord I wanna be more, I need to be more like You Take my self and hypocrisy, Let me live in simplicity, Help me burn my bridges, And live the Word within me, And Lord, please help me to be more, Chorus: More, more, more, I wanna be more, I need to be more like You, Lord I wanna be more, I need to be more like You More, more, more, I wanna be more, I need to be more like You, Lord I wanna be more, I need to be more like You Take my heartache and emptiness, Deliver me from all worldliness, Take the chains that bind me, Put Your arms around me, And then please help me to be more Chorus: More, more, more, I wanna be more, I need to be more like You, Lord I wanna be more, I need to be more like You More, more, more, I wanna be more, I need to be more like You, Lord I wanna be more, I need to be more like You [repeat]

about

I would not really consider myself a producer of music for young people - my ’niche’ has always been more along the lines of ballads, folk music, pop or similar genres. With that initial disclaimer, in this album I include songs which I think might be suited to younger audiences of all ages (age being quite as much a state of mind as time alive), and all of which contain a message that I feel important and interesting for you. I pray the material herein brings enlightenment, enjoyment, and is somehow relatable.
